How do you practice self-care?

Preface: Granted, rehashing my self-care regimen certainly qualifies as a yawner. But that’s not all bad; especially if you’re a WP reader ISO de-stressing and/or soporific content.

`

  • Eat a 2,000 calorie, low fat, balanced diet, daily; stay hydrated
  • Regularity is key; as the Charmin TP advert sez, “Enjoy the Go.”
  • Exercise regularly; heart smart, fast-paced walks work out fine
  • Exercise your gray matter, too; fill in Crossword / Sudoku grids
  • Stay au courant; read and comprehend honestly by-lined works
  • Engage in stress relieving recreational activities and/or hobbies
  • Live The Golden Rule; abide by all ethical, evenhanded statutes
  • Socialize with family/friends; chatty cashiers work wonders, too
  • Schedule bedtime at the same time each night; rack up 8 hours
  • Get plenty of Big O’s, drink booze in moderation & don’t smoke

crazy contagious coronavirus which,
in turn, spawns new variants; which,
in turn, could, eventually, render the
available vaccines worthless; which,
in turn, will drag out the pandemic’s
needless suffering, illness and death!
