Preface: Upon posting my fifth consecutive Daily Prompt blog (this early a.m.), I knew I could not go another day sans mentioning my recent, sudden change of heart.

Originally, I had promptly pooh-poohed the daily writing prompt concept
My train of thought chugging along; words to the effect (in the form of a Q)
Might bloggers who rely heavily on such a challenge / crutch
Lack a passion for writing?

I now know the time is ripe to derail that (crazy) train
The innovator of the prompt, has promptly proven me wrong
My sentiments, summed up in a scant three words
This is fun!

As for the why, you see, each new assignment challenges us
Not unlike a Star Trekian “to boldly go” dare
It serves to sweetly freshen up stale thoughts
Acts like a literary, metaphorical Febreze

It gusts away the dense fog from long forgotten memories
Exhumes life’s moments we may have mistakenly buried
Detours us off our particular niche’s beaten path
Exits us out of our comfort zone

Invites us to explore new writing angles
Liberates our minds; limbers up our fingers
Cures us of writer’s block
Extricates us from writer’s rut

All in all, as time marches onward, I’m sure to conjure up

Further fleshing out this verse… it’s the #1, perverted fantasy of nearly all Trumper / MAGA (f)lawmakers to ram home their utterly worthless, odious dogma that humans cannot be anything other than cisgender.
