For what it’s worth… Happy(?) Earth Day…
On to my Prompt response: First and foremost, what unnerves me, no end, is how our myopic leaders, ignorantly and greedily prioritize economic green over ecological green. They’ve kicked the can down the road so frequently… correction… so incessantly, that our Mother Earth will likely wind up kicking the bucket sooner than we might think. I could go on and on, but, alas, I’m little more than a whisper battling the climate change intensified, roaring winds of change; needless to say, changes not for the better.
Beyond that battle of nerves…
Vying / tying for first place, is the ideological hot air / wind… correction… overheated, ill-winds of change.
What this distills down to involves the outcome / aftermath of the, now, 6 months down the campaign trail, 2024 Presidential Elections; where win or lose, climate change / science denier Donald Dolf Trump, sure as sh… sure as hell will go on a take no prisoners, burn down democracy, Stateside / Worldwide rampage.
- In Victory: He’ll roll out U.S. Army tanks; down Main St. U.S.A.
- In Defeat: He’ll sic his heavily armed private MAGA army on us
Either way, Americans lose.
A Dictator Donald, mucked up, in environmental ruins United States, will become the paradigm for both preexisting and wannabe fascists, spanning the globe. Translated into tyrannical Trump-speak…
“Today America! Tomorrow the whole world!”
Once again, needless to say, changes not for the better.
And if such an odious outcome doesn’t serve to jangle one’s nerves, I don’t know WTF will.
For now… with welled up eyes, heavy heart and lengthy exasperated sigh… I’m outta here…
