Trump’s Illegal Tender Delusion

Felon Donald J. Trump’s narcissism absolutely knows NO bounds; so much so, [1] that x-prez fancies himself worthy of unearned worship / exaltation; [2] there’s a movement afoot to pull the strings of his MAGA legislators (puppets to a fault); high pressuring these fumb ducks [sic] to do his bidding; e.g., pass a bill to order the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing to roll the presses to circulate the $500 bill, anew; namely with (who else?) Trump’s plastered mugshot marring the face of this ILLEGAL lucre.

AND THAT WOULD BE ILLEGAL! As a numismatist and philatelist, since my 2nd grade elementary school teacher, Mrs. M, piqued my interest in both hobbies, I do know something that, obviously, Donny and his dummies never learned.

That the very money that they lust for spits in the face of past legislators who, sagaciously so, passed the following, hopefully non-trumpable laws…

But, seeing how, when it comes down… way, Way, WAY DOWN to Donny, there’s no law against breaking the law, if reelected, that Trumpian currency will go into print and circulation; NO QUESTIONS ASKED / ALLOWED! Naturally, at that point, for the most part, all of his obscenely wealthy cronies will renew their vows to their false god / “dear leader”; in the best way conceivable…

By jamming wads of these $500 bills into their back pocket crammed wallets; all in close proximity to their anuses…

A fitting end destination for “venerating” that veritable a-hole!

Something So Small Can Be So Huge

This past Saturday, my lifelong Michigan was in the midst of such an enjoyable, picture perfect, fair weather pattern, one wishes this could be routinely mass produced and duplicated; copied and pasted to as many upcoming calendar “squares” as possible.

By late afternoon, following a quick stop at my local post office, I reluctantly opted to drop into an avarice driven supermarket; one renowned for shameless, chronic price gouging that far, Far, FAR EXCEEDS the current, going rate of runaway inflation.

ASIDE: Whilst I do realize that President Joe Biden is right on the money when he points out that, compared to prices, worldwide, the Stateside scene could be far, Far, FAR worse, nonetheless, I, too, must point out that we, the consumers, are still being bled dry / financially buried alive. Perhaps far worse is how, historically speaking, the return to the so-called good ol’ days of more reasonable manufacturers’ suggested retail prices does seem highly unlikely.

RELATED ASIDE: Perhaps, the only consolation, here, might be that this grocery store, in question, is paying their workers some semblance of a living wage? If so, might that, in part, account for my bearing witness to this past weekend’s display of atypical service? Hell, as one of their decades long patrons, I’d be hard pressed to summon up even one recollection of a similar phenomenon. Check out what happened…

Since I had left my car way out in the parking lot periphery (as I typically do to avoid the inevitable minor dings and dents), I needed to wheel the ol’ grocery cart all the way back to the far off drop off coral. But, that wasn’t all bad, seeing how the weather was so pleasant. Well, that’s where / when an approaching store clerk, assigned to cart collecting duty, met me, more than half way; thereby saving my soles; to say nothing of sparing me a few precious moments outta my just going-thru-the-motions life.

As a recipient of such a rare courtesy, this did render me momentarily stunned; so much so, that I almost forgot to thank the guy. My gawd, as I drove homeward, what I had just witnessed nearly brought a tear to my eye.

Even days later, what still continues to wow me is how something so small can be so huge.

The grand revelation: Donald J. Trump’s recent courtroom appearances have proven how his branding President Biden as “Sleepy Joe” has been both projection and misnomer. You see, even the eyeopener of potentially facing down serious jail time could not prevent Drowsy Donny from constantly nodding off; grabbing his Z’s whilst seated, no less, right at the defendant’s table!

The even greater revelation: Nearly as fast as one can count 1… 2… 3… 4, 12 jurors found Trump guilty of all 34 felony counts.

Even so, the American electorate must NEVER count on that unpresidential wannabe’s inability to stay awake as any surefire means for preventing him from fulfilling his fugly campaign promise… namely…

Donald Dolf Trump’s sworn vow to (win or lose) burn the candle at both ends; to satisfy his never-ending, perverse lust to burn down the very American liberty and democracy that he deplores, detests, and despises; deep down within each strand of his inhumane DNA.

A Con Man of His Convictions

For someone who self-brands as an Alpha Male, fragile snowflake, Donald Dolf Trump, certainly whines, weeps and wimps out too damned much. Had he (pre-election 2020) NOT repeatedly cheated on his third wife; had he NOT attempted to hush money cover up his misogynistic, philandering, raw dogging ways; had he NOT run such an overall, ugly, bigoted 2020 campaign…

Had he (post-election) NOT underhandedly, incessantly and insufferably told his BIG LIE re mail in ballots triggering rigged elections / widespread voter fraud; had he NOT ordered / deployed his unAmerican, private, MAGA army to storm the U.S. Capitol; had he NOT targeted his own VP for a gallows hanging; had he NOT staged HIS (fortunately failed) Jan. 6th coup d’état at all…

Had he, INSTEAD, graciously conceded and offered his sincere good luck wishes to his rival (the 2020 elections’ legitimate president-elect), Joe Biden, at the very least, Dolf would not now be (correctly) perceived to be the autocratic, sore loser / insurrectionist / corrupt business “man” / BIG BABY who he is.

My gawd, that fusspot / despot could not (NEVER will) even accept losing his New York case in Judge Juan Manuel Merchan’s courtroom; where late last week, the jury justifiably rebranded deplorable Donald the offender, lawbreaker, criminal, crook and convict, WHO HE ABSOLUTELY IS!
